Edible Bike Lane/Piste Gourmand
in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue

The bike lane through the community of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue is becoming a leading project in the edible community movement. Zach Loeks' design mimics a natural woodland ecosystem. Here a mix of fruits, berries, and herbs are now available to bikers, walkers, and tourists in multiple locations along the bike lane. Long-lasting metal tags identify the edible plants and interpretive panels teach community members about the benefits and designs of this emerging community food forest.
Come VISIT this landmark project just outside the great city of Montreal and keep posted for upcoming workshops and community events!
