Edible Yard Workshop

Small plots can yield big, come SEE the difference at Winnipeg's own Suburban Edible Ecosystem through this interactive workshop.

SEE is a small acreage suburban home that has been converted to a food forest homestead, a suburban edible ecosystem.  The property includes hardy fruit trees, berries, herbs and vegetable gardens, water catchment and hugelkultur composting systems.  The Suburban Edible Ecosystem project has been pioneered by Zach Loeks and Vera Banias to demonstrate how to live in an edible Eden within the lines of a suburban lot.
